Carehouse
The CFC Carehouse (also known as Jerry D’s Carehouse) is located adjacent to the CFC, and is a five unit apartment building that has been renovated and is now used for the caring for and aiding in the restoration of individuals who are willing participants and sincerely desire to improve their lives. Some are struggling with life controlling problems, others are just in need of a helping hand. Each situation is unique and admission is considered carefully by the leadership of the CFC.
Jerry De Gregorio, a professional basketball coach who also coached at entry level and colleges as well, attends the Christian Fellowship Center and has such a passion for the CFC Carehouse. Jerry wanted to join us in this vision of giving hope to others, and we welcomed him to be a part of it. Therefore, we also call the CFC Carehouse, Jerry D’s Carehouse. All the resources of the Christian Fellowship Center: pastoral counseling, food pantry, soup kitchen, clothing ministry, bible studies, support groups, Sunday school, church services and more are used to transition these residents into a healthy lifestyle to become assets to society. The CFC also utilizes Home Groups to fellowship with and mentor the people in our care. For young parents in the CFC Carehouse, Parenting Classes are given.
If you or someone you know is in need of this service, or if you would like to learn more about this ministry, we encourage you to please check out how you can help.
